CTET 2012 Exam Postponed for Chandigarh, Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand States to 5th May 2012

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2012 for January is postponed for Chandigarh, Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand to 5th May 2012.

CTET 2012 exam was scheduled to hold on 29th January, 2012. CTET 2012 Admit card download have been made available for the written examination. But the exam for Chandigarh, Punjab, Manipur and Uttarakhand States are cancelled presently.

Centres for Manipur, Punjab and Uttrakhand States for Imphal, Bhatindha, Jalandhar, Dehradun, Haldwani, Pant Nagar and Roorkee cities have already been cancelled. Total 94 centres are postponed for these States to 5th May, 2012. A press not was released regarding this information at: http://ctet.nic.in/PDF/Press_Note.pdf in PDF file.

Now, centres for Chandigarh State conducted in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali are also postponed to 5th May, 2012. Total 39 centres are postponed for CTET 2012 in Chandigarh State. It is confirmed by a press note: http://ctet.nic.in/PDF/Press%20Note%20for%20Chandigarh.pdf releasing in PDF file.

CTET January 2012 examination is postponed to another date on the suggestion of Election Commission of India to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the General Election for Legislative Assemblies.
