Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced combined recruitment for Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres and Hindi Posts (AG-II and Typist) in the FCI, 2012.
SSC Recruitment 2011 Assistant Grade Important Dates:
Last date of receiving online application is 25th November, 2011. Last date of receiving applications from far-flung area is 2nd December, 2011.
Date of written exam of SSC Assistant Grade – III (AG-III) Posts (General/ Accounts/ Technical/ Depot) is 4th and 5th February, 2012. SSC Assistant Grade-II (AG-II) and Typist (for Hindi Posts) written exam date has been scheduled on 22nd January, 2012.

Educational Qualification for AG-III:
For General:
Candidates should have a degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognized university with knowledge of Computer.
For Accounts:
Candidates should have a degree of a bachelor in commerce from a recognized university with computer knowledge.
For Technical:
Candidates should have a degree in B.Sc. with agriculture or Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science or B.Tech./BE in Food Science/Food Science & Technology/Agricultural Engineering/Bio-Technology from a recognized University/an institution approved by AICTE along with computer knowledge.
For Depot:
Candidates should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university with computer knowledge.
Selection Process for General, Depot, Accounts and Technical Cadres:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in written exam which will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission. There will be 3 papers - Paper – I, Paper-II and Paper-III for different posts.
For Hindi Posts AG-II and Typists (Hindi):

Educational Qualification for Hindi Posts:
For AG- II:
Candidates should have a degree of bachelor from the recognized university with Hindi as the main subject. Candidates should have proficiency in English and one year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
For Typist (Hindi):
Candidates should have a degree of graduation or equivalent. They should maintain their Hindi typing speed up to 30 W.P.M.
Selection Process for AG-II and Typist (Hindi):
There will be a written test for AG-II and Typist (Hindi) posts. There will be two papers - Paper-I and Paper –II.

Candidates can submit their offline applications in the prescribed format to the Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices of the SSC.
SSC conducts an All India Open Examination on the behalf of FCI for recruitment to Class III posts in the Food Corporation of India.
SSC Assistant Grade Admit card will be issued from the official website before two weeks of the examination. SSC Assistant Grade Admit card will be made available through ssc.nic.in.
SSC Assistant Grade results will be announced after written exam. SSC Assistant Grade final result will be declared by the Food Corporation of India.
