Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi invites online applications for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2012. The online applications are invited from Indian citizens to recruit teachers for classes I to VIII.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test January 2012 to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi will be conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. CTET January 2012 will be held to recruit teachers for KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools etc. and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

CTET 2012 Information Bulletin and Application Form Fee:

General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 500 and SC/ST/Differently abled candidates have to pay Rs. 250 for CTET 2012 information bulletin and application form.

ctet.nic.in 2012 Important Dates:

ctet.nic.in 2012 Information Bulletin and Application Form will be available to buy from 5th November to 25th November, 2011. CTET January 2012 online application starts from 1st November to 25th November, 2011. Last date of receiving online and offline application in CBSE for CTET 2012 January is 30th November, 2011. Last date for far-flung candidates is 7th December, 2011.

CBSE CTET 2012 Exam Date and Time:

CBSE CTET 2012 exam date has been scheduled on 29th January 2012.

Exam Time:

Paper – I: 10 AM to 11:30 AM

Paper – II: 1 PM to 2:30 PM

How to Apply:

CTET January 2012 Off-line Submission:

Candidates have to fill the application form containing Information Bulletin from the designated branches of Syndicate Bank and institutions specified as under against cash payment. Candidates are suggested to must follow the instruction of Information Bulletin.

CTET 2012 Online Submission:

Online application can be submitted through accessing www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the computer generated application form/conformation page after successful submission of data and send it to “The Assistant Secretary (CTET), Central Board of Secondary Education, “Shiksha Sadan”, 17, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi – 110002 through registered/speed post by 30th November, 2011.

Fee can be remitted through credit/debit card or demand draft in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi for CTET 2012 online submission.

ctet.nic.in 2012 Educational Qualification:

For Classes 1 to 5:

Candidates should have a degree of Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education

Or

Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education

Or

Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

Or

Bachelor and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education

For Classes 6 to 8:

Candidates should have a degree of bachelor and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education

Or

Bachelor with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

Or

Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

CBSE CTET 2012 Exam Pattern:

CTET 2012 examination will contain objective type of MCQs. There will be 2 papers for classes 1 to 8. There is no process of negative marking.

Candidates who intend to be teachers of classes 1 to 5 have to appear in Paper 1. Candidates who intend to be teachers of classes 6 to 8 have to appear in Paper 2. Candidates who intend to be teachers for both levels have to appear in both papers.

CTET 2012 Qualifying Marks and Certificate:

Appearing candidates in CTET 2012 will get marks statement. Candidates have to secure 60% and above marks to get CTET Certificate.

Validity period of CTET certificate for appointment will be 7 years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for acquiring a CTET Certificate.

CTET 2012 Syllabus:

CTET 2012 syllabus for January exam can be downloaded from: http://ctet.nic.in/PDF/syllabusnew.pdf for both classes - 1 to 8. There are details of CTET 2012 syllabus for both papers. Candidates should concentrate on the CTET syllabus 2012 to achieve higher score. There are details of ctet.nic.in 2012 syllabus chapter-wise.

CTET Results 2012:

CTET results 2012 will be announced through official website. Candidates will be able to track ctet.nic.in results 2012 online after written exam. Date of CTET result 2012 has been scheduled on 6th March, 2012. You can see your score and performance in written exam by ctet.nic.in result 2012. CBSE CTET certificates/mark sheet will be dispatched from 31st March, 2012. Candidates will be able to get their mark sheet after the declaration of CTET 2012 results.

CTET 2012 Admit Card Download:

CTET Admit card download for January 2012 will be made available from 3rd January to 12th January 2012. Candidates should download CTET 2012 Admit card online. Candidates have to carry ctet.nic.in admit card along with blue/black ball point pen of good quality during January 2012 written test. Candidates can confirm their exam centre, date, time and other necessary information of test downloading ctet.nic.in admit card 2012.

Central Eligibility Teacher Test 2012 Exam Centre:

Central Eligibility Teacher Test January 2012 will be conducted in 82 centers of the country. Details of CBSE CTET January 2012 exam centre is made available at: ctet.nic.in.
